Titan America Announces the Acquisition of the Cumberland Quarry in Kentucky

Titan America LLC is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of the Cumberland Quarry, which produces limestone aggregates in Salem, Kentucky from Cumberland River Resources LLC and Jim Smith Contracting LLC. The operating quarry has more than a billion tons of reserves on the Cumberland River and barges aggregates to various locations along the Mississippi River, including the New Orleans and neighboring markets.

"This quarry contains significant reserves of high quality limestone that can be barged along the Mississippi River," noted Aris Papadopoulos, CEO of Titan America. "It has the potential for increased production to serve the needs of growing markets," he added.
